The consortium presented application related research results at upcoming 22nd IFAC World Congress which took place from 9 to 14 July 2023 in Yokohama, Japan. It is one of the largest gatherings of systems and control engineers in research and is thus well suited to present the final project results to a larger scientific audience. The partners from KAUST were hosting an open invited track on "Asymptotic and Non-Asymptotic Estimation Methods for Nonlinear Systems" which corresponds with the PURE-WATER project scope. As the event took place shortly after the PURE-WATER project end, the partners got the chance for a final meeting on a conference to assess the collaborative achievements.  more

The official project end has been shifted to the end of Jun 2023. The evaluation of the final results is currently in preparation. Since the project start in 2019, the PURE-WATER project connected young and experienced researchers from the involved institutions in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. We thank all the involved staff members for their insightful contributions towards better information processing for improving water filtration problems. We wish them all the best for their career and hope that they keep to impact people's lives with their inventions.  more

The current circumstances allow for the resumption of the project related travel activities due to vaccination progress and increased hygienic standards. As of now, the exchange of researchers can finally take place again after a long break. We are looking forward to fruitful discussions between the involved scientists and the PURE-WATER community.  more

February 22 & 24, 2021
In order to exchange recent research results within the consortium, an online event is realized which gives every partner the chance to present their current scientific work. These presentations include a short lecture on exact state observers by the colleagues from AGH as well as topics in the fields of diagnosis, Modulating Function selection, distributed systems and further water applications.  more
